About CCF
The Community Connect Foundation was chartered on January 24, 2006 as a nonprofit foundation with a mission of promoting community development and sustainability through the use and adoption of technologies. Given the rural nature of West Virginia, the latest technologies seem to be very limited or inaccessible to many of our state’s residents. The value these technologies bring to economic development and the enhancement to our quality of life prompted the creation of CCF and has lead us to seek out projects and funding to accomplish a wide-range of technology initiatives. Areas of focus include education, E-Government, broadband deployment, and community building. Through strategic partnerships and community projects we strive to be a pragmatic voice and proactive leader when it comes to technology expansion and adoption in both the public and private sector.
